Telkomsel Blackberry Internet Service – Postpaid

Dear Telkomsel Blackberry,

Please be informed that I’m the new user for the second hand
Blackberry 8320 IMEI NO:358265013448508 PIN:24551CBF.
I would like to sign up with BIS for my daily use however
it’s not successful because the previous user account is
still active. I’ve tried to contact the previous user as per
email address in the device named cathyptak@gmail.comm but
I don’t know whether the message has reached him/her or not.
Appreciate to terminate or remove the existing account so that I could proceed with new BIS registration.

Hi Heidi,

As a rules of operators in Indonesia, you cannot release you BlackBerry PIN in that handheld is not belong to you. it means, if you want to release your second hand Handheld you need to ask the firts owner (seller) to come to Telkomsel for release that handheld. if the seller cannot do that, better you ask to give your money back. it’s not only valid in Telkomsel but also XL and Indosat.

Note :
My suggestion for anyone who willing to buy Blackberry handheld, there are somethings we need to know about it :

1. Please ensure the BlackBerry is not phone lock
“if it lock, ask the seller to unlock the phone”
2. Please ensure the BlackBerry is not PIN lock
“ask the seller to unlock the PIN”
3. Please ensure the Handheld is not suspended
“ask the seller to give back your money”
4. please ensure that is not refurbish handheld
“sorry, i cannot explain the differenciate between refurbish handheld and normal handheld”

BIS Telkomsel sedikit lbh mahal ya daripada Indosat.

Difference between normal and refurbished handheld;
NORMAL – you get a brand NEW blackberry handheld in the box shown exactly the SAME PIN & IMEI of the handheld.
REFURBISHED – you get a brand NEW blackberry handheld in a random old box, meaning that PIN & IMEI that stated on the box are different from the handheld.

Refurbished handheld of course costs you cheaper than the normal one, however if something happens e.g. handheld PIN is unreleased, you CANNOT prove that the handheld belongs to you without original box.

Anyway, you can release your PIN as long as its previous connection is registered at one of Indonesia providers. My friend already did and had no problem with that.

Hope this answer is not too late for you to recover your problem. If so, it might be helpful for anybody who has the same situation as yours.

You may directly go to Grapari to have their assistance to cancel the previous active account by bypassing the registered/active account. Just bring your phone and tell them your issue.

1. Kamu bisa beli ponsel BBnya dari mana ajah, cuman pastikan BBnya unlock utk semua operator n ga ada masalah lain kaya pin suspended dll.
2. Kalo pake abonemen namanya pospaid/pascabayar. Kalo ga mau kaya gitu ya bisa pake yang prepaid/prabayar. Tinggal pilih n aktivasi layanan mudah, self service tinggal kirim sms ke 333 ajah kok

saya punya E61i, mula2 saya mencoba BB dan berjalan hanya 1 bulan. tiba2 macet. saya coba lagi untuk reg 2*Rp. 180 disedot, tetapi setiap saya melakukan activation…..jawabannya selalu BB servis currently not connected. operation not possible……what is happening? pening

klo mslh contact kayanya bisa disimpen di software google sync yg bisa didonlot lsg dari BB nya… klo buat yg diatas munkin hrs update bb connectnya jg….

saya pakai BB 8300. pas mau email setting ternyata ngk bisa. ktnya didalam bb sy sdh ada email. tp bkn punya saya. memang sy beli second. cara untuk membuang dan memasukan email sy gimana ya…? terima kasih sebelumnya.

seperti yang telah ditulis, layanan ini tidak ditujukan untuk paket HALO hybrid maupun corporate … jadi yah apply kartuHALO biasa ajah atau pake prepaid.

aku baru beli BBcurve 8320 pake simpati, tapi jaringannya yg muncul cuma GSM, padahal kalo pake XL atau indosat muncul jaringan edge, registrasi bb pun jadi gak bisa, gimana yah?

Eh,,,, Koq aku dah daftar di http://telkomsel.blackberry.com yang muncul “gprs” kecil ,, bukan yang “GPRS” Besar??? tolong bantuannya!!!

Sama tuh kaya dettol gprs di BB gemini ku kecil terus, meski udah ikutin langjas sesuai dengan artikel  dan sudah menghubungi operator semua dah aktif .. dan satu bulan yang lalu langganan bulanan Ok begitu habis dan mau diperpanjang saat hatus di restart .. amoe skg masi kecil gprs nya… Help … langkah cabut baterai udah, host routing tabel udah, network selection ke manual udah .. ga tau mesti ngapain lagi… HElp……!!!! aktivasi tgl 5/01/10 ampe skg tgl 6/10/10 lom bisa juga .. Mo nanya saya baru 2minggu pake Bold 9000 AT&T dgn kartu prabayar Telkomsel. Awalnya saya nyoba harian trus lupa isi pulsa akhirnya layanan BB di hentikan. Besoknya saya isi pulsa dan registrasi paket mingguan, tp udah 2hr msh blm bisa browsing, BBM dan yang lain..padahal GPRS dan Telkomsel 3G nya udah diaktifkan..

Saya punya 9700, AT&T punya (vendor 102). Papa punya 9700 jg tapi vendor 603. Adik punya Gemini vendor 302. Saya pakai operator 3 full service, Papa pakai TSEL Bisnis, adik pakai IM3 full service.
Pertanyaannya:
Kenapa kami ber3 kok ga bisa pakai internet dgn WiFi rumah ??
Padahal security key OK (kami pakai WPA2-PSK), MAC address udah dicross sama routernya, bisa register .. dan ga ada setting aneh2 (semua standar). Service book OK, HRT OK, status WiFi jg connect (ada icon WiFi dibawah gambar sinyal) — keliatannya totally no problem ! tapi kok pas buka hotspot browser ga bisa buka apa2 ya (bahkan google ataw blackberry.com) ?? Error message nya kami dpt sama semua: "Unable to find the requested server".
Mohon pencerahannya .. Tkb  *bow*
